| Abstract: | Powder forms of cellulose-ll with microcrystalline and amorpho-cryslaliine morphology have been prepared by a conventional scheme using NaOH, and by a non traditional scheme using HNO3. Powder cellulose-ll forms prepared by the non-traditional scheme are superior to their traditionally prepared analogues in sorption capacity towards iodine and Congo red. |
