Abstract: Transmission of optically thick layer of "donor-acceptor" bichromophore solutions is calculated. The influence of optical excitation in the donor molecule absorption band on the transmission parameters of a solution at the acceptor molecule frequency is considered. It is shown that with the excitation radiation intensity growth the solution transmission is first increased and then decreases. The feasibility of creating a light filter with the sharply nonlinear and nonmonotonic response to the effect of light is demonstrated.
