| Abstract: | We consider the self-decimated generator of pseudorandom-numbers and investigate the preperiod λ and the period p. of its state sequence. We obtain the expectations and variances of λ and µ for the case when decimation steps are chosen randomly, independendly and uniformly from the set {1.2}. |
