| Abstract: | Access time estimates for networks based on switches are proposed. It is shown, that Ethernet frame transmission time depends on the traffic flow distribution between switch ports, as well as on probability of data transmission. Collision probability and average contest delay are studied. Example of common subnetwork topology is given, possible types of traffic proposed and analyzed. |
