Abstract

It was proposed to use a concept of «redox buffer capacity» for the quantitative description of antioxidant biosysteras property. Comparative analysis of redox buffer and pH-buffer properties were carried out. Dependence of redox buffer capacity value from reducing and oxidizing agents concentration was established. The theoretical estimation of redox buffer capacity values for rat liver mitochondria, cytoplasm and extracellular medium was carried out with use of developed method.
