Abstract: | A new refractive microcapillary lens for hard X-rays is described. The spherical aberrations of the lens are calculated. The possibility of the production of micrometer sized X-ray beams by using the refractive microcapillary X-ray lens and a microfocus X-ray tube are discussed. |
