| Abstract: | The research deals with the computer tomography. The transversal plane images from computer tomography scans are analyzed. The ribs-bounded contour was approximated by some mathematical model. The problem of approximation is defined as the nonlinear least-squares one. The optimal parameters of the model were found using the nonlinear optimization. The model would be useful in registration of images independently on the patient position on the bed and on the radio-contrast agent injection. |
