| Abstract: | In this article the author considers intervariant similarities and differences in the structures of utterance stress in American and British English in the framework of the theory of variance in multinational languages today. The article describes the experimental material and technique for auditory and acoustic analysis, the results of experimental phonetic research, conclusions on the re-sults of the study. |
