Abstract: Abilities of three-color pyrometry using modern multi-element photo-detectors are analyzed. There are suggested the method of taking into consideration the spectral sensitivity of three-spectral photo-detectors at determining the temperature by spectral ratio method under the assumption of exponential wavelength dependence of object's emissivity. Methodical errors of the suggested method are estimated. There are considered nuances of using in pyrometry multi-element photo-detectors that allows to eliminate the influence of radiating surface heterogeneities (scoria, calx, soiling, mechanical roughnesses) and radiation noise on the results of determining the temperature.
