Abstract: In this work we studied structural, magnetic, optical and some other proprieties of fullerides C60(FeCp2)2, C60(NiCp2)2 and their derivatives. The influence of fulleride particles on the cell proliferative activity was also investigated. We found that the proliferative activity of the RINmF5 cells increases (53 % vs. control) in the presence of C60(FeCp2)2 nano-size particles. Moreover it was registered that the cell culture becomes multi-layered and secreted basophile matrix. We also present the results of quantum chemical studies of C60(FeCp2)2 complex. It was shown in particular that the spin density is localized on the atoms C belonging to the fullerene molecule.
