Abstract: Results of regional investigations of terrestrial temperature field within intersynclinal local structures of so-called “tortoise-shell type” are discussed. Such geological structures were distinguished within the central part of the Pripyat Trough. Heat flow density estimates are fulfilled for a number of drillholes. The influence of hydrogeologic conditions, salt tectonics, mineralogical composition of rocks in the platform cover are discussed.
