Abstract

On the example of various inaccuracies and contradictions in the concerning the language topics in the texts of some the Belarusian, Ukrainian, and Polish authors and philologists of the XVI–XVII centuries, the point about their understanding a written language as an open system with more or less stable written and sound form and more mobile grammar, lexicon and syntax is formulated. Such mobility could include many elements of closely related languages. Some West European parallels of such views (Skaliger, modists) which affected creation of the western bookish-written languages based on a vernacular are specifi ed that also predetermined language practice of Belarus and Ukraine of the XVI–XVII centuries. = На примере различных неточностей и противоречий в текстах ряда белорусских, украинских и польских авторов и филологов XVI–XVII вв., касающихся языковых явлений, формулируется положение о понимании ими письменного языка как открытой системы с более-менее стабильной письменно-звуковой формой и подвижной грамматикой, лексикой и синтаксисом. Такая подвижность могла включать многие элементы близкородственных языков. Указываются некоторые западноевропейские параллели таких воззрений (Скалигер, модисты), повлиявшие на создание западных книжно-письменных языков на народной основе, что также предопределило языковую практику Беларуси и Украины XVI–XVII вв.
