Abstract: | The paper points to the necessity of using such terms as “theory”, “law”, “principle” and “rule” for analysis of microeconomics. The author gives different arguments explaining why it is absolutely wrong to equate the aforesaid terms. Classification of economic laws is given based on linkage between factors and results of production. Besides, the paper reviews the laws and rules of rational behavior of producers in terms of microeconomics. The author casts doubts on some microeconomic theories which prevail in modern Belarusian economic literature and which refer to the law of descending marginal productivity of variable productive factor. According to the author, there is a law of ascending-descending average variable productive factor. The law allows to determine the optimal number of variable factor when maximum productivity is achieved. The author justifies action of the law and clarifies its minimization rules. |
