| Abstract: | The synthesis of a number of (sterically) hindered amines (HA) is carried out and their efficiency as photo and thermal stabilizers of polyolefins and polyamide-6 is investigated. The influence of the substituents of the piperidine ring on the activity of HA is investigated. On an example of orto- and para-substituents of piperidinylphthalates it is shown, that the degree of HA activity depends on the stability of nitroxyl radical formed from amine. The synergism of action of mixtures of HA and secondary aromatic amines during suppression of thermal decomposition of polyamide-6 is found. |
