Пространственный фактор в структуре интеллектуальных способностей учащихся

Abstract

In article results of the theoretical analysis and empirical research of students’ spatial abilities are presented. The problematics of study of spatial factor in intellect structure is discussed, the short characteristic of theoretical and methodological researches is given. Spatial intellect is considered in the context of structural intellect theories, particularly in Cattell-Horn-Carroll theory of intellect. On the basis of theoretical model of V.N. Druzinin the mechanism of interconnection between some intellect factors and success in educational disciplines is given. The empirical research results of spatial intellect of students considering factors of education, age and gender are represented in the article. Results of the conducted empirical research testify that spatial intellect provides complex analytical and synthetical mental activity of a student in cooperation with other factors of intellect.
