| Abstract: | Рассматривается книга английского историка Дж. Феннела и ее влияние на современную российскую историографию. Под «кризисом» Дж. Феннел понимал ослабление княжеской власти и утрату Киевом роли ведущего политического центра древнерусских земель. Предлагается более широкая трактовка данного термина — как системного кризиса, затронувшего в XIII в. все стороны жизни Средневековой Руси. Намечаются основные параметры этого кризиса: политический, династический, военный, экономический, культурный, религиозный, ментальный. Такой подход позволяет связать воедино явления в разных областях жизни средневекового древнерусского общества в XIII—XIV вв. и увидеть общую картину развития Руси. |
| Abstract (in another language): | The article is dedicated to a book of English historian J. Fennell and the influence of his approach on the development of modern Russian historiography. Under the term “crisis” J. Fennell primarily considers the weakening of ducal power and decay of Kiev as primary political center of Russian lands. The author provides to the term a wider interpretation — it seems to be treated as a systemic crisis that affected all the aspects of life in Ruś of 13th century. The basic parameters of the crisis are as follows: political, dynastic, military, economic, cultural, religious, mental. Suggested approach makes possible to tie together the events from the different life spheres of medieval Russian society in the 13th-14th centuries and recognize the overall picture of the development of Russian lands. |
