Abstract: Dependence of deposition rate and boron content in the iron-boron alloys on current density, temperature and sodium borohydride concentration was studied. The results of this study demonstrated the possibility of obtaining both crystalline and amorphous Fe-B films with wide range of boron content (from a few tenth to approximately 30-31% by atom) using an electrodeposition procedure. The cristallization process of the Fe-B alloys under the heat treatment has been observed in dependence on their chemical composition and temperature.
