| Abstract: | Мэта артыкула — раскрыць ролю паэта Максіма Танка ў рабоце дэлегацыі БССР на XV і XVII сесіях Генеральнай Асамблеі ААН (1960—1962 гг.). У даследванні былі выкарыстаны тэксты афіцыйных прамоў паэта, дакументы асабістага паходжання (дзённікавыя запісы, лісты), творчая спадчына (вершы, нарысы, артыкулы, напісаныя пад час ці адразу пасля паездкі ў ЗША), а таксама мемуары тых людзей, якія суправаджалі паэта ў падарожжах. Зроблена выснова пра тое, што выкананне афіцыйных дыпламатычных абавязкаў накладвала пэўныя абмежаванні на свабоду выказвання творчай думкі паэта. Разам з тым, дзякуючы высокаму рытарычнаму майстэрству, Максім Танк стаў адным з найбольш славутых прадстаўнікоў БССР у ААН. Кіраўніцтва рэспублікі імкнулася ўключаць пісьменнікаў у склад дэлегацыі, бо эмацыянальныя прамовы літаратараў павышалі ўвагу да беларускай дэлегацыі. |
| Abstract (in another language): | The purpose of the article is to reveal the role of the poet Maxim Tank in the activities of the Byelorussian SSR delegation at the UN General Assembly (1960—1962). The study is based on the wide range of sources: the texts of offi cial speeches, personal origin documents (notes from diary, letters), the items of his literary heritage (poems, essays and articles that were written during or immediately after a trip to the United States), as well as memoirs of people who accompanied him during the trips. It is concluded that official diplomatic duties set up some restrictions on the freedom of thought expression for the poet. However, due to the high rhetorical skills, M. Tank has become one of the most prominent representatives of the Byelorussian SSR. The republic’s leadership seeked to include poets and writers in the delegations on the reason that their emotional speeches often raised attention to the BSSR delegation. |
