| Abstract: | This paper presents the results of gills, liver and kidney histopathological investigation of fish from Vygozero reservoir. A variety of histopathological changes were found in all organs examined. The types of lesions observed in this study indicate that fish from Vygozero reservoir respond to both direct toxicant effects of contaminated water and sediments and secondary stress effects caused by factors such as parasitism |
