dc.description.abstract	In the Byelorussian SSR the depleted quarries of such mineral resources as clay, sand and limestone gradually become filled with water, which prevents the afforestation or cultivation of these areas. But if we level the bottom of such quarries, strighten their shoreline and cover the bottom with earth, the resulting artificial water-bodies can be used for breeding fish.	ru
