Abstract

Definition of regularities of the modern dramatic performance background music is an essential element for the implementa- tion of staging, which subsequently influences further perception of the performance by the audience. When selecting music for the performance the following principles are used: system of leading motifs, music is used as a shape-generating and structure- forming element of the performance, using of music for the creation of a certain atmosphere, which is appropriate to the genre, time, directors decision. Music is often used for the notional and emotional emphasis, highlighting of the performance high tide.
