Abstract

The object of research is the accuracy and reliability of pyrometric control based on statistical methods, taking into account the physical nature of the processes occurring at high heating of metal billets. This paper describes the main problems en- countered in pyrometric control of engineering products, leading to less accurate results. As a result of the project was developed methods for measuring the temperature of billets three-spectral method, developed a method of estimating the uncertainty of temperature measurements based on analysis of the contributions of input variables and, based on the Monte Carlo method, de- veloped recommendations for improving the operational control of the heated metal billets, based on statistical methods.
