Abstract: The spectral properties of symmetric indotricarbocyanine dye in low polar dioxane has been received. The influence of ionic balance state to photophysical properties of indotricarbocyanine dye has been studied. The existence possibility of radical mechanism of photo activity of cyanine dyes has been established.
