Abstract: In the framework of the standard model, the Hamiltonian describing the electroweak interaction of relativistic spin-1/2 particles is obtained in the Foldy-Wouthuysen representation. The weak interaction caused by neutral currents is studied. For a spin particle in an electroweak field, the operator equation of motion is found and parity violation in heavy atoms is considered.
