| Abstract (in another language): | The article examines the influence of the English language on Russian vocabulary in the 21st century. It analyzes the main channels of the penetration of Anglicisms, associated with the digital revolution, the globalization of the economy, and mass culture. The processes of adaptation of borrowings at the graphical, grammatical, and word-forming levels are considered. Particular attention is paid to the sociolinguistic aspects of the phenomenon, including its positive (enrichment of the language) and negative (communication barriers) consequences |
