Совершенствование и развитие международного сотрудничества в борьбе с фальшивомонетничеством

Abstract

The article reviews same topical issues of international legal regulation of the states' cooperation in the fight against counterfeiting. It analyses the most important international legal acts on this problem and also the corresponding Belarusian legislative acts. The author focusses on the possibility of the Republic of Belarus joining the 1929 Geneva Convention on fight against counterfeiting. The article also contains suggestions on improvement of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus on counterfeiting issues aimed, at its complete conforming with international obligations of our country. The author states that the Interpol National Central Office in the Republic of Belarus should be afforded a higher status.
