dc.description.abstract | The article analyses systems of the fixed currency rates in the developed industrial and developing countries. The author thoroughly describes the reasons for the collapse of the Bretton-Woods and European currency systems. He touches upon the coordination issues in the symmetrical system of the fixed currency rates in the target zones of the dollar, yen, euro and gives a forecast of their development. The article reviews the advantages and disadvantages of the systems of the fixed currency rates in certain Asian and Latin American countries, their positive and negative experience in the solution of the problems of national economies stabilization. The article concludes with setting out the strategies of avoiding sharp fluctuations of the exchange rates in the systems of the fixed currency rates. | ru |
