| Abstract: | The author analyzes economic and political ties between Belarus and Egypt, and compares t h em with the relationship being developed with Syria and Libya. The emphasis is made o n the factors that allow to consider Egypt as a priority for the Belarusian policy in this region. The author points out positive aspects of the Belarusian-Egyptian relationship and notes the problems existing in bilateral relations. She also presents a forecast of the further cooperation tendencies. |
