| dc.description.abstract | В статье рассматриваются особенности института мученичества в христианской церкви античного периода; выделены поведенческие мотивы, лежавшие в основе выбора христианами мученической смерти, проанализированы основные реакции римского языческого общества. Основное внимание уделено анализу на основе агиографических источников особенностей мотивов и поведения женщин-мучениц и исповедниц. Автор приходит к выводу об отсутствии гендерных границ в христианской среде в связи с формированием института мученичества | |

| dc.description.alternative | The article examines the features of the institution of martyrdom in the Christian church of the ancient period; the behavioral motives underlying the choice of martyrdom by Christians are highlighted, the main reactions of the Roman pagan society are analyzed. The main attention is paid to the analysis on the basis of hagiographic sources of the features of the motives and behavior of women martyrs and confessors. The author comes to the conclusion that there are no gender boundaries in the Christian environment in connection with the formation of the institution of martyrdom | |
