| Abstract (in another language): | The author explores the authority and principles of forest management by the German occupation authorities during the First World War on the example of the Bialowieza military forestry administration (Militärforstverwaltung Bialowies). The article analyzes the issues of subordination of the military forest administration to the army leadership; the structure of the central administration and military forest inspections that were part of the military forestry administration. |
