Abstract

Objective of the research: to analyze the conceptual basis of the use of information technology in the economy as a factor in improving the efficiency of enterprises in modern conditions. Object of research: information technology as a factor in improving the efficiency of enterprises. Subject of research: information systems. Methods: generalizations, comparative analysis, economic analysis, systematization, methods of logical linking of data. The results obtained and their novelty: the theoretical foundations of enterprise management using information technology were reviewed; analysis of the effectiveness of the use of information systems in the enterprise; ways of improving the enterprise management mechanism using information systems (on example of Mars Wrigley Confectionery Belarus) have been developed. Realm of the possible practical applications: the application of results in practice can increase the efficiency of the enterprise.
