Despite the fact that the dissemination of disinformation for various purposes is not new, it has been given new impetus through the technological development and the processes of globalization in general. Today it may have a key impact on the functioning of democratic institutions and the shaping of public opinion. The main issues addressed in the article include the definition and classification of fake news, international legal point of view, existing challenges, national legal measures, as well as possible solutions to the problem. | |
