dc.description.abstractToday, bilingualism is one of the most obvious trends in language development in society. Despite the fact that the knowledge of two or more languages can bring together people of completely different nations, as well as improve the effectiveness of intergovernmental negotiations, this skill can change a person’s life and at a more basic level – the level of thinking. This article examines how one or more foreign languages affect judgment and decision making, especially in moral domain. It is extremely important to understand that bilingualism can directly influence the decision-making process of an individual. That is why these issues are relevant and require further study.
