Abstract: Recently planning and forecasting have become an integral part of work of any enterprise. Due to the broad implementation of forecasting models, in this paper regression analysis is used as the main tool. At the same time, in the conditions of gradual economic growth the problem of environmental pollution is becoming more and more relevant. Nowadays the problem of global warming caused by emissions of greenhouse gases is of special concern. Thus, in this paper the regression model allowing to predict future level of emissions in the air depending on the extent of economic growth will be constructed. Besides, here statistics about the condition of atmospheric air of Belarus in recent years and some practical recommendations on application of the constructed model in public sector are provided
