|Abstract:||Objectives – to determine the dependence of local and visceral changes from different force of the limb’s compression during crush syndrome. Crush syndrome was modeled in 15 guiena pigs with help of the device of adjustable compression (DAC-1). The animals were divided into groups (5 animals in each group): 1st – 10 kg/cm2, 2nd – 25 kg/cm2, 3rd - 75kg/cm2. Morphological changes were studied in muscle of the compressed limb, kidney, liver, lung and heart. In the first group together with changes in muscle of damaged limb changes in the kidney with minimal changes in other internal organs were observed. In the second group more pronounced morphological changes, both in the affected limb, and in the internal organs were observed. This became the basis of multiple organ dysfunction. Animals of third group died during the compression period. The cause of death was pronounced traumatic shock. Knowledge of these revealed features is the basis for medical actions in treatment of the crush syndrome|
