Population of Neisseria meningitidis circulating on territory of Europe including Belarus were studied. Multilocus sequence typing data of 11483 isolates in the form of nucleotide sequences were exported and analyzed by phylogenetic and population genetics approaches. Identical clustered genetic structure was found in different countries. Each cluster consists of different sequence-types. Several sequence-types inside every cluster express higher adaptive potential compared to other sequence-types. Such highly-adapted sequence-types are the backbone of cluster and determine its spatial and temporal dynamicsru
