Abstract

In the scientific literature there are conflicting data about the advantages and disadvantages of both types of layers. So, according to some experts are more economical brown hens. Their merits are calm disposition, resistance to stress and manufacturing hot climate, the presence autoseksnosti. However, the cost of eggs from brown hens are still higher than that of whites. This is due primarily to the higher cost of feed per 1 kg of egg mass.Therefore, studies to determine the most effective cross-country, providing high productivity combined with high quality eggs is very relevant and important for increasing the profitability of poultry egg in Belarus
