Развитие импортозамещения в Республике Беларусь

Abstract

The manufacture of the competitive domestic goods instead of the imported ones has a great value for the national economy, the economic security of the country and consequently our quality of life. It is time to admit, however, that the general expansion of the import substitution does not always improve our foreign trade balance and the economy in whole. It is determined by the high material and import capacity of the domestic works and the noncompetitiveness of the goods issued, as well as the limited home demand and the lack of the required technologies in the country
