| dc.description.abstract | In this study, we described possible variants of Thebesian valves, the frequency of their occurrence and the dependence between the size of the Thebesian valve and the presence of additional valves in coronary sinus. We examined 28 hearts of adults. Thebesian valve was discovered in 89.3% cases. The frequency of occurrence of different shapes was: crescentic – 28,6%, semilunar – 35,7%, individual trabeculae – 14,3%, membranous – 10,7%. Valve sizes ranged: length of 4.0 – 13.8 mm, width of 1.0 – 10.0 mm. Area of overlapping coronary sinus orifice varies from 18.8 – 97.4% | ru |
