In the soils of green zones of Vitebsk we found 63 species of mesosticmatic ticks that belong to 3 cohorts and 13 families. The maximum species variety and the maximum density of mesostigmatic ticks are observed in the deciduous soils of the park Masurino. In the upper layer of the soil the settling density comprises 1942,9 copies/m2, in the lower layers of the soil the number of ticks is much lower. The family Parasitidae is characterized by the most vivid species variety and outnumbers other familiesru
