Abstract

This work is aimed at the development of a methodology for assessment and classification of rivers in Brest region for the organization of water sports tours. Till present time Belarusian rivers have not been studied in terms of the specifics of water tourism, the presence of information about tourist characters of a river. An aim of the study - to emphasize the main criteria for evaluation of a river for the organization of sports tours and approaches to the classifications of rivers. An object of the study- the rivers of Brest region, where water sports hikes can be organized
