dc.description.abstract	This article considers the structure of cargo transportation in Poland, identifies the defining modes of transport, including the dynamics of transit traffic by the EU countries through Poland. The main reasons for the increase in transit against the background of the European decline in 2010-2016 are formulated. The factors that influence the trends of road and rail transit are analyzed.
