Abstract: The fluorescence of the fluorescein (donor) and the rose bengal (acceptor) solid solution has experimentally been carried out. It is shown that the contribution of the donor luminescence in comparison with the acceptor luminescence, grows, with the intensity of the exciting radiation increasing. The degree of the fluorescence polarization for such a solution depends on the excitation intensity. In case of low excitation intensity the degree of the fluorescence polarization within the donor fluorescence band is close to the value of the limiting polarization degree for this dye, but in case of high excitation intensity, the growth of the polarization degree to values exceeding 50 % within the donor fluorescence band is observed.
