dc.description.abstractIn most cases Ag(I) ions interact with some of the sterlcally hindered pyrocatechol derivatives to give silver sol. 2-(4,6-Di-fref-butyl-2,3-dihydroxyphenylsulfanyl)acetic acid doesn’t reduce Ag(I), but forms a complex therewith. The sols were examined by ТЕМ and optical spectroscopy methods. The complexation was studied by potentlometrlc titration, and the complex of the pyrocatechol derivative with Ag(I) was characterized by the means of X-ray diffraction and elemental analysis, TGA and IR spectroscopy.ru
