The relationship between both specific ration and assimilation efficiency and age of the detritus has been shown. Such a relationship may be represented as a curve with maximum when the animals fed a leaf detritus of 30-50 days decay under 20 0C. The maximum value specific rations as well as assimilation efficiency were obtained for more older (0,43 mg) then youngest (0,15 mg) animals after that they decline with increasing weight. Assimilation efficiency did not correlated as with caloric value of food and as protein and organic matter content.ru
