The conditions of excitation of a special surface wave at the boundary of an isotropic medium and a hyperbolic metamaterial with Kerr nonlinearity are found. The main feature of this wave is non-exponential decay of the amplitude when moving off the boundary. The dependencies of the energetic characteristics of the wave on the propagation constant and the depth of penetration inside metamaterial are established and analyzed.ru
