| Abstract: | A system of monitoring of Byelorussian forests ecology has been considered, as well as GIS as a tool for visualizing spatially-coordinated observation data, and for analysis and support of management decisions. Structure and functional potentialities of GIS have been discussed, GIS-based maps and schemes of spatial and temporal distribution of defoliation and other characteristics of forest condition are described. |
