dc.description.abstractThe regulation of tryptophan biosynthesis enzymes was studied in Pseudomonas mendocina and Pseudomonas marginata. Allosteric regulation of 3-deoxy-D-arabinoheptulosonate-7-phosphate-synthase (DAHPS) and anthranilate-synthase (AS) was demonstrated. AS of both bacteria is inhibited by tryptophan. DAHPS in P. mendocina is inhibited by tryptophan and tyrosine, whereas in P. marginata - by tyrosine and phenilalanine.ru
