For the contemporary economic development the success and growth prospects of both large and small countries are increasingly determined by the degree of their active involvement in the process of attracting foreign capital. However, the development of this sphere of international economic relations is impossible without the creation of appropriate conditions for foreign investors. In this regard, it is relevant to study the dynamics and characteristics of modern investment processes in small economies, priorities and features to attract foreign investments into the economy of the Republic of Belarus, due to accumulated investment potential. In the article authors have carried out an analysis of foreign investments trends both in the world and in Republic Belarus and its correspondence with investment climate inside the country.ru
