About Asymptotic Stability In Semidynamical Systems

Abstract

This article discusses the problems of the qualitative stability theory of motion of semidynamical systems, defined by an arbitrary metric space. We study the properties of stability, attraction, asymptotic stability and domain of attraction of a compact invariant set M, where attention is paid to the behavior of semi-trajectories of system in the neighborhood of M. In particular, the necessary conditions of stability and instability properties are set. We have formulated criteria for asymptotic stability and domain of attraction. The theorem on the alternative properties of weak attractor is proved. The results are obtained using the property of asymptotic compactness of semidynamic system, in a certain neighborhood of M. An example of the attractive but unstable compact invariant set is given. = Рассмотрены проблемы качественной теории устойчивости движения полудинамических систем, определяемых на произвольном метрическом пространстве. Исследуются свойства устойчивости, притяжения, асимптотической устойчивости и области притяжения компактного инвариантного множества M. Изучено поведение полутраекторий системы в окрестности M, в частности, установлены необходимые условия свойств устойчивости и неустойчивости. Сформулированы критерии асимптотической устойчивости и области притяжения. Доказана теорема об альтернативных свойствах слабого аттрактора. Результаты получены путем использования свойства асимптотической компактности полудинамической системы в некоторой окрестности M. Приведен пример притягивающего, но неустойчивого компактного инвариантного множества.
